The research aims to analyze: financial feasibility and sensitivity of salak pondoh farming.Â This research was conducted at Wonoharjo, Sumberejo, Tanggamus. The data was collected in Januari 2016. Â The samples Â were 44 Salak farmers who were selected by using Â simple random sampling method.Â The analysis methods of this research were financial feasibility analysis and sensitivity analysis.Â The results showed that based of Net B/C, Gross B/C, Payback Periode (PP), NPV, IRR, and sensitivity, salak pondoh farming was profitable financially and feasibly to be developed.Â The Net B/C and Gross B/C values were bigger than 1, the value of NPV was bigger than 0, and IRR value of salak pondoh farming was greater than 12 percent (the used interest rate).Â The PP analysis for salak pondoh farming system showed that the initial cash out flow of investment could be recovered in Â less than 25 years.Â Based on the changes of sensitivity analysis, the increase of production cost was 5.90%, but the decreaes of production price and production quantity were 10 percent and 30 percent.Â The result of sensitivity analysis showed that salak pondoh farming was sensitive to changes, but wat still profitable and feasible to be continued.Key words : feasibility, financial, salak pondoh, Tanggamus Regency

The aims of this research are to analyze the financial feasibility and the sensitivity of cocoa monoculture farming and cocoa inter-cropping.Â This research was conducted in March-May 2016inpurposivelyselected Bulok District, Tanggamus Regency. The samples of theresearch were30 farmers selected randomly. Research data wer analyzed by using financial feasibility analysis method and sensitivity analysis. The results showed that cocoa monoculture and intercroppingÂ farming were financially profitable and feasible to be developed. The value of Net B/C and Gross B/C were bigger than 1. The value of NPV was bigger than 0 and IRR of cocoa farming was greater than 9% as the used interest rate.Â The Pay Period analysis of the cocoa farming system showed thatthe initial cash outflow of investment could be recovered less than 25 years. The feasibility value showed that cocoa intercropping farming was better thancocoa monoculture farming.The changes of sensitivity analysis showed that the production cost increase was 7.26%, the production price decrease was 22% and theproduction quantity decrease was 14%. The results of sensitivity analysis showed that cocoa monoculture farming was more sensitive than cocoa intercropping farming. Key words: cocoa, feasibility, financial, intercropping, sensitivity

This study aimed to determine: the participation level of the cooperative members, the effect of the participation toward the economic advantage that was received by the cooperative members, the household income structure of the cooperative members, and the prosperity level of the cooperative member. Â This study was conducted in Koperasi Tani Surya Sekawan Banyuwangi Village, Banyumas Subdistrict, Pringsewu Regency. The respondents were 82 farmers which were consisted of 46 rice farmers, 33 cocoa farmers, and 3 coffee farmers. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, linear regression analysis, and income analysis.Â The results showed that the participation level of members belonged to high category based on three aspects, the participation of the members in attending RAT, the participation of the members on paying off the obligation savings, and participation of the members in utilizing the service.Â The economic advantage which derived by the high participation members was significantly different from the low and the medium participation members. The structure of household income received by the cooperative members came from: farming income by 73.70%, the outside of farming income by 25.93%, and the economic benefits by 0.37%. The prosperity of the members based on the criteria of BPS in 2007 was belonged to the prosperous category. Key words: income, level of participation, prosperity of members

The research aims to know the income level and productionâ€™s efficiency of upland rice farming in Sidomulyo Subdistrict of South Lampung Regency. The Location of this research was chosen purposively with consideration that the area is upland rice production centers in Lampung. This research used a survey method and the data were collected in Nov-Dec 2016. The samples consist of 54 upland rice farmersÂ selected using stratified random sampling method. The income level of upland rice farming is analyzed by using income analysis method. The production efficiency of upland rice farming is analyzed by using production stochastic frontier function analysis method. The results showed that the income level of upland rice farming in rainy season (November 2016 until March 2017) was provitable about Rp 1.381.414/ha, R/C value of total cost was about 1.22. The production efficiency level of upland rice farming was 89 percent (not efficienct yet).Key words : efficiency, income, production, upland rice

This research aims to analyze the income of red chili farming in Kalianda Sub-District of South Lampung Regency. The purposes of this research are to determine income of upland rice farming, income level of farmer household, and household welfare level of upland rice farming.Â This research was conducted in Sidomulyo Sub-district, South Lampung District.Â The location is determined purposively by consideration that Sidomulyo Sub-district is one of the rice producing centers with the highest number of upland rice farmers in South Lampung District.Â The number of respondents in this study was 54 farmers.Â The methods of analysis used in this research are descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis.Â The results showed that it is unprofitable rice farming with R/C value over total cost of 0.69.Â The income of farmers in rice field that has the greatest contribution is on farm (cultivation of rice fields and corn farming) income with percentage of 54.74 percent of total household income.Â The household welfare level of upland rice farming according to poverty criteria by Sajogyo (1976) belongs to sufficient and by the World Bank belongs to not poor category.Â Key words: farm income, household income, household welfare, upland rice

This research was conducted to find out the implementation of Minister of Trade regulation number 57 of 2017 in Bandar Lampung and to determine its supporting and inhibiting factors. This study used a qualitative descriptive method and the research location was chosen purposively with the consideration that Bandar Lampung is an area with high population, economic center, and high consumtion of rice as staple food. Â The sample size was 25 people consisting of 4 farmers, 2 huller entrepreneurs, 2 large traders, 4 retailers, 12 rice consumers and 1 person as a representative of the food task force. Data collection was conducted in February 2018. The data analysis method used was qualitative descriptive to determine the performance and using Ripley and Franklin's theory to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors. The results showed that the implementation of Minister of Trade regulation number 57 of 2017 in Bandar Lampung was ineffective, although it has supporting factors such as the existence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) from the regulations and the establishment of a food task force. Inhibiting factors are the ineffectiveness of the existing food task force, noncompliance of rice business actors, lack of information about policies at the level of rice business actors and the contents of regulations that are not in accordance with the needs of rice business actors.Key words: implementation, regulation, rice, trade

This study aims to analyze profitability and added value of catfish processing products. This research is case studies on La Tansa, Oseri and Osta Food Agroindustry for the reason of that catfish processing products are one of the regional superior products in Metro City. The study was conducted in February-March 2018 in which data was analyzed by quantitative analysis. Â The results showed that profitability ratios obtained by La Tansa Agroindustry was 48.27% in abalone catfish products and 23.58% in catfish bone crackers products. Â Whereas the profitability ratios of Agroindustry Oseri amounted to 51.14% in abalone catfish products and 34.62% in catfish bone crackers products. Â The revenue from the total cost per month in La Tansa Agroindustry was Rp2,174,546.67 on abalone catfish products and Rp518,161.67 in catfish bone crackers products. Whereas, Agroindustry Oseri Rp5,617,646.62 on abalone catfish products and Rp2,188,286.71 on catfish bone crackers products. Â Both agroindustry were feasible because they had positive added value and were profitable because the R / C ratio was more than one. Indonesia is a country that consumes and produces rice, so rice is a primary need in Indonesia. The government stipulates the highest retail price (HET) of rice policy to maintain the stability of rice price. The purposes of this study are to fin out the effectiveness of rice HET policy in Lampung Province, to analyze the impacts of thepolicy stipulation, and to find out the difference between medium rice supply chains before and after the HET Policy. This research uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used were interviews using questionnaires and also observation. The results of this study were the policy of medium rice HET has not been effectively implemented Lampung Province with price difference of Rp1.663,00. This caused no impact on the farmers, distributors, retail traders, and consumers. In the previous study, the medium rice supply chain flow in Lampung Province was infour marketing channels while in the current study was in six marketing channels.Keywords: effectiviness, HET, rice, supply

This research aims to analyze the level of satisfaction members, and the factors that affect on the level of participation members of KUD Mina Jaya in Bumi Waras subsdistrict of Bandar Lampung City. This research is condutedby survey method. Respondents of this research consist of fishermen (ship owner, sailor, ship crew, and ship machine) and nonfisherman (fish merchant). The research respondents constitutes of 87 people, consist of 68 fishermen and 19 nonfisherman and the research data is colledcted inJanuary to May 2017. The results of this research showed that the satisfaction felt by members of the inner ministry RAT, mandatory savings, and utilization of business unit services in categories ?satisfied?. Based on the results of IPA, the main priority attributes were sufficient physical infrastructure, staff support, and availability of information boards. The age, length of membership, gender, jobs, and member?s satisfaction of cooperation services were positively correlated to the level of member participation of RAT attending. The length of membership was positively correlatedto the level of member participation in purchasing obligatory deposits. Family burden, jobs, and member?s satisfaction of cooperation services alsopositively correlatedto the level of member?s participation on untilised the business unit services.
